RECHO FUEL

VISUAL TRANSFORMATION

As the Starkim family, we have been producing chafing fuel under the Starjel and Starwick brand since 1993. You can find our products in more than 20 countries on 4 continents. Chafing dish fuel takes its name from the equipment called chafing dish, which is the general name of the kitchen products in which it is used. In the food sector, it has come to the forefront with its use in the heating of foods heated by bain-marie method. However, it is seen that the fuel is used in almost every field due to its practical, portable, economical and safe usage features. It is used to meet the heating and warming needs of climbers, hunters and campers. In military units, it is used for heating military personnel in open terrain and for heating canned food. It is used for heating and keeping warm beverages such as tea, coffee, soup. It is used in bain-marie and chafing dishes to keep the food served in places such as hotels, restaurants, bars and cafes hot. It is used to ignite barbecue or barbecue charcoal in homes and picnic areas.

Chafing dish fuels can be produced by gelling two different alcohols, ethanol and methanol, and can also be produced from a petroleum-derived chemical known as Diethylene Glycol (DEG). While ethanol and methanol are used by gelling, DEG is consumed as a liquid and has a canister with a wick. Since this chemical does not burn without a wick, it is preferred by some hotels and restaurants against the risk of fire.

Stargel ethanol and methanol reso fuels are completely ecological fuels and are products that do not harm the environment and human health. In our country, in America and in some countries, methanol chafing fuel is preferred, while in some countries of Europe, ethanol chafing fuel is preferred. The reason for the preference of the countries that prefer ethanol refoil is that ethanol has no harm to health when accidentally eaten or swallowed. However, although methanol does not emit any toxic gas or waste while burning, it can blind or kill a person depending on the amount of ingestion when eaten or swallowed.

You can find Starjel ethanol and methanol chafing fuels in two different cans as Clamped and Plastered. Plaster box is a standard box made of sheet metal. The clamped box is a box obtained from recycled sheet metal. The purpose of our company to produce this box is due to our environmentalist approach. It also provides the user with the chance to offer a more economical option. Although the weight of both boxes is the same, both boxes have two different lid options, small and large lid. Small lid option: 2,5 – 3 hours Large cover option burns for 4 hours.
